This pavilion is the centerpiece of a new youth action park in a growing community in Maple Ridge. Surrounded by parkour course, pump track, sport court, and skate park, the wood and steel structure is a dynamic armature providing a covered gathering space. The unique geometry is formed by two counterbalanced triangles resting on four V-shaped supports. MIZA was retained for full architectural services through design and construction as a sub-consultant to the prime consultant landscape architect/civil engineer (Binnie).
