Flanking the south edge of a new turf sports field, the Inlet Park Fieldhouse will support sports groups, general park users, community groups, and City staff with changerooms, washrooms, a small concession, a 2000 sf multipurpose room/event space, office space and a 100-person viewing deck overlooking the field.

With ambitious environmental goals in mind, the project is targeting LEED Gold and Passive House certifications with a high-efficiency wood-based low-embodied carbon design.

MIZA was initially engaged to study the feasibility of 1-storey, 2-storey, and 3-storey designs, and was subsequently retained to carry the 3-storey option forward through detailed design and construction.
