The Derby Reach Washroom Building is a new full-service washroom building (men’s/women’s washrooms, two universal washrooms, mechanical space) designed in an agricultural vernacular, plus various landscape upgrades to accommodate the building and incorporate it into a well-used regional park.

MIZA’s scope as prime consultant was for full architectural design services from SD to CD and related construction administration services.

A key challenge navigated successfully was achieving a fully accessible building within the Fraser River floodplain, which required elevating the building more than one metre above existing grade.
