NE25 is a 2,820m² 3-storey building built in 1984 on BCIT’s Burnaby Campus. The upgrades to NE25’s exterior intend to make the building more attractive, better performing from an energy usage perspective, provide a more comfortable temperature environment in classrooms and offices on the south side of the building (with installation of the new solar shading system), and provide an aesthetically engaging building for users and the campus community.

A copper-anodized aluminum solar shading system was selected as an homage to copper wiring used in the trades and technology programs.
