TRU Lepin Modernization

Renovation

The Ken Lepin Science Building at TRU underwent a substantial face-lift. MIZA was retained to lead renovations to the aging building including a refresh to circulation spaces (corridors and stairs) and washrooms, redevelopment of student-oriented spaces, and a number of first-year lab renovations including physics, chemistry, and biology labs. The project enhances the student areas to provide a variety of spaces for quiet study, group work, and general leisure, while lab upgrades introduced up-to-date facilities based on current pedagogical developments to improve student-focused hands-on learning outcomes. MIZA was later engaged again by TRU to develop concept designs for a complete building envelope retrofit and modernization.
